I think the cast so far is perfect. Straight as I may be -- I am not so straight to be able to withstand Alice Coote's charm (If I wanted to, that is.)

So, Watson? Lestrade? Anderson?
Molly?
Suggestions... Fach-wise... damn this is hard...

What voice types do you think everyone would be? Irene would be a high soprano, I think. Lestrade = baritone? Anderson = tenor?

Irene, ... something lush and warm, a Carmen-type mezzo or a lyrical soprano, I'd say.
Anderson -- buffo tenor, or a baritone.
Lestrade, Mycroft, Watson... They all have their gentlemanly and broken side that I associate with lyrical tenors. But obviously, this would be rather boring, so...

Watson -- tenor (for lovely duets with Coote's Holmes)
Lestrade -- baritone (I am biased by Rupert Grave's sexy speaking voice)
Mycroft -- counter tenor, voice type like Chance or Bowman. So very English ;)

But I was hooked on the Rossini style from the Gazza Ladra at the Reichenbach Episode. We might as well write a Baroque opera :D

Actually, after endless discussions on chat, we narrowly opt for:

Sherlock: mezzosoprano (Alice Coote)
Moriarty: soprano/mezzosoprano (PJ)
Watson: undecided yet. Maybe PJ too, in a tasking double role.
Mycroft: tenor (Michael Schade)

I'm awaiting libretto promts ;)
